UPCOMING EVENTS AT ANDINA TUPAI ART SHOW
First Thursday featuring Alyson Levy and Tatiana Mac
Andina will host its second First Thursday Art Show on July 2 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. in its lively upstairs event space, Tupai. Featuring two artists, Alyson Levy and Tatiana Mac, the show is open to the public. Tapas and drinks will be available for purchase. Happy Hour will also be offered in Tupai from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Danny Romero will perform from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
A native New Yorker, Alyson Levy came to Portland for a visit and has never left. Whether in the art photography that will be featured on First Thursday, or her work with Alyson Levy Photography, which specializes in wedding and infant portraits, Levy aims to capture and illuminate changing and otherwise ephemeral moments. Adept at deconstructing images and creatively recomposing them, Levy uses numerous angles, image-layering, and multiple exposures to create new and compelling lines, spaces and movements.
Tatiana Mac sees herself as a photojournalist, using photographs to elucidate differences and parallels between diverse cultures and places. Traveling throughout the Middle East and Europe, Mac creates diptychs that reveal a surprising scope of cultural analogy. A graphic designer with ATOM Design Group, Mac is drawn to the architectural elements of photographs, an interest that is further reflected in her web and print design, silkscreening and printmaking.

3rd ANNUAL SUMMER ROSÉ WINE FESTIVAL AT ANDINA
Join Andina Wine Director/Sommelier Ken Collura for an evening of tapas and 25 rosés, served family-style in Tupai, Andina's event space on Monday, July 13 at 6:30 p.m. South Africa, France, Italy,
Greece, Spain, Oregon, Washington, California, Chile and Australia are among represented regions. Tapas will consist of familiar old friends from the andina menu, including veggie, fish and meat options. DJ Malolactic (Ken) will spin jazz and reggae. Tickets $50 plus gratuity.
